San Carlos's Tohias Antequera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lisandro Titos in the 10th minute of play. 10 minutes into the game, Gilabert Barambio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. San Carlos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cerro Largo F. C. the free kick. If Bizen Magaña had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mambru Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gomesano Periquet in the 15th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Lisandro Titos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gorka Venegas charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gorka Venegas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mambru Cotilla didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gomesano Periquet went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Lisandro Titos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tohias Antequera having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bizen Magaña in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mambru Cotilla prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mambru Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bizen Magaña, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute, Ezkerra Carrasquedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Cerro Largo F. C.'s Rey Polo tried to score from far away in the 33rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Mambru Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bizen Magaña, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rai Tizon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tohias Antequera having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Lisandro Titos kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tohias Antequera. That made the score 1-1 in the 41 minute of play. Baiardo Borrellino charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Baiardo Borrellino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Cerro Largo F. C. booed when San Carlos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baiardo Borrellino didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th minute, Lisandro Titos fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Tohias Antequera, passed just outside the right post. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lisandro Titos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mambru Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viviano Caso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 57 minutes into the match, Rai Tizon notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of San Carlos's Tohias Antequera. Tohias Antequera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lisandro Titos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of San Carlos booed when Cerro Largo F. C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xuban Zaitegui didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mambru Cotilla acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 84th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Cesareo Prat. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bizen Magaña in the 89th minute of play forced Cerro Largo F. C.'s goalkeeper Mambru Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cerro Largo F. C.'s supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
