An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Soporta in the 15th minute of play forced Campamento's goalkeeper Gaizkine Villapol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnoldo Sagredo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Ariando Camerin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Campamento's Gaizkine Villapol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Soporta in the 24th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Manuel Soporta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gaizkine Villapol. Campamento's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Manuel Soporta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After 28 played minutes Palmitas FC got a freekick which was hit by Dorio Bausa. Vela Ucles could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Ariando Camerin made a huge save. Pacorro Muro's late challenge caught a Palmitas FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pacorro Muro helped the player get up and apologised. If Manuel Soporta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Osvaldo Juanes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 45th minute, Osvaldo Juanes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gaizkine Villapol was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The ball went over the crossbar instead. 58 minutes into the game, Curcio Acipreste was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Palmitas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Campamento the free kick. 57 minutes into the game, one of Palmitas FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 67 minutes into the match, Osvaldo Juanes dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gaizkine Villapol, 1-4. After 73 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Campamento! Gaizkine Villapol went to the wrong direction when Martxelin Lavandera was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. After having played for 81 minutes, Sesuldo Castañiza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Campamento's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sesuldo Castañiza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Manuel Soporta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Gaizkine Villapol made a huge save. Osvaldo Juanes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Gaizkine Villapol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Osvaldo Juanes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaizkine Villapol having to interfere. Ariando Camerin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vela Ucles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Palmitas FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
