In the 15th minute, Xines Pumares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Chilcas booed when Cerro largo uy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xines Pumares didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 24 minutes of play, Chilcas's Panfilo Encio made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Baltasar Urruchi was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cerro largo uy's goalkeeper Baltasar Urruchi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 28th match minute, Cerro largo uy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Txema Esterina to maneuver through the defense. Baltasar Urruchi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paskal Iturburu, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After 35 played minutes Cerro largo uy got a freekick which was hit by Eleazar Tovar. Goyo Omente made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gumaro Magaz in the 39th minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Argoitz Guifens stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The Cerro largo uy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Baltasar Urruchi should have stopped the shot. Salamon Miquelarena could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Baltasar Urruchi made a huge save. Paskal Iturburu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bizen Posadillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Baltasar Urruchi made a huge save. Chilcas played a much better game than Cerro largo uy and deserved their victory. The Cerro largo uy players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
