Zoil Sigler made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Perez Guera sent off a good shot on target. Zoil Sigler made an important save on a dangerous shot by Perez Guera in the 12th minute. Mendiko Aquejano kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Mergildo Mancobo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignatius San in the 19th minute of play. Mergildo Mancobo came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Cerrezuelo AFC's Patricio Estramiana. But to his dismay, Patricio Estramiana quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Ignatius San sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 35 minutes, Braulio Fernandez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Oribe AFC and the Cerrezuelo AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Cerrezuelo AFC booed when Oribe AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Braulio Fernandez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oribe AFC's Valerio Iriusta got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mergildo Mancobo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nesor Roman in the 45th minute of the match. Mergildo Mancobo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignatius San in the 46th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valerio Iriusta was the one to do the kick off. Eulalio Faes kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Mergildo Mancobo made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Ignatius San sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Perez Guera in the 56th minute of play forced Cerrezuelo AFC's goalkeeper Zoil Sigler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 59 minutes into the game, Valerio Iriusta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Zoil Sigler was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eulalio Faes hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Laurin Antonijoan got free with Mergildo Mancobo in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mergildo Mancobo came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Cerrezuelo AFC's Ignatius San. But to his dismay, Ignatius San quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Patricio Estramiana might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mergildo Mancobo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Patricio Estramiana ran back to his position shaking his head. Ignatius San who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 74thth minute tested the skills of Mergildo Mancobo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 77 minutes into the match, Oribe AFC's goalkeeper Mergildo Mancobo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nesor Roman. A collision led to Oribe AFC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Mendiko Aquejano hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Ignatius San managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cerrezuelo AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ignatius San was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mergildo Mancobo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Perez Guera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zoil Sigler having to interfere. After 89 played minutes Oribe AFC got a freekick which was hit by Baladi Odoardo. In the 90th minute, Patricio Estramiana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Oribe AFC's zone, Patricio Estramiana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mergildo Mancobo came out of the goal and Patricio Estramiana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Cerrezuelo AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
