Fermin Larrave came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Ceibal FC's Otoniel Busta. But to his dismay, Otoniel Busta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Fermin Larrave came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Ceibal FC's Geofredo Garro. But to his dismay, Geofredo Garro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Tadzio Balanzuela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fermin Larrave having to interfere. Josu Roldan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valentim Farell in the 35th minute. Ceibal FC's Josu Roldan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Belo Barquerin in the 37th minute of play. Valentim Farell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Josu Roldan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, Belo Barquerin notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Ceibal FC's Josu Roldan. Josu Roldan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tadzio Balanzuela to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Geofredo Garro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ceibal FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Geofredo Garro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fermin Larrave breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ceibal FC's Josu Roldan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentim Farell in the 55th minute of play. Josu Roldan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Belo Barquerin's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Belo Barquerin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fermin Larrave made an important save on a dangerous shot by Geofredo Garro in the 63rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valentim Farell in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Josu Roldan saved Ceibal FC from getting behind. The supporters of I.A Sarandi booed when Ceibal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Otoniel Busta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Belo Barquerin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josu Roldan having to interfere. Otoniel Busta charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Otoniel Busta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 76 played minutes Ceibal FC got a freekick which was hit by Otoniel Busta. Tadzio Balanzuela struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Fermin Larrave didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ceibal FC. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Belo Barquerin in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Josu Roldan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Geofredo Garro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ceibal FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Geofredo Garro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 92nd minute, Valentim Farell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 94th minute, Phelipe Lugunez had to leave the field with a concussion. When Otoniel Busta was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 94 minutes had been played.
