After 4 played minutes Los Antiguos Astronautas got a freekick which was hit by Roland Capacho. In the 6th minute Domenec Redin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pueblo Usabiaga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Domenec Redin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pueblo Usabiaga having to interfere. In the 31st match minute, Menafra FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Cuadrado to maneuver through the defense. Peruanton Bruna made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Karmel Magadan sent off a good shot on target. In the 34th minute, Karmel Magadan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los Antiguos Astronautas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Pueblo Usabiaga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domenec Redin in the 38th minute of play. Peruanton Bruna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Venceslao Gijon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paul Martel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pueblo Usabiaga read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paul Martel to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Paul Martel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pueblo Usabiaga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 53 minutes, Venceslao Gijon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Antiguos Astronautas and the Menafra FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Florencio Tipular blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Peruanton Bruna having to make a save. 70 minutes into the game, Florencio Tipular cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Peruanton Bruna was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Los Antiguos Astronautas's Florencio Tipular got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 75th minute, Domenec Redin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pueblo Usabiaga was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Peruanton Bruna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Venceslao Gijon in the 79th minute of the match. If Paul Martel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Domenec Redin took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pueblo Usabiaga. Pueblo Usabiaga dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Paul Martel took a quick shot and it went in 2-5 without a chance for Pueblo Usabiaga to make any attempt to save it. Los Antiguos Astronautas's Pueblo Usabiaga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paul Martel in the 96th minute of play. Menafra FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
