When Oroitz Salto came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Sangre Charrúa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oroitz Salto couldn't finish the play. Erasmo Bengolea hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Cayetano AFC's Xofre Maixenchs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Munio Santervas in the 20th minute of play. Xofre Maixenchs made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Oroitz Salto sent off a good shot on target. In the 24th minute, Cordarin Valle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oroitz Salto in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Xofre Maixenchs prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Emanuel Garoña's late challenge caught a Sangre Charrúa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emanuel Garoña helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Cayetano AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 29th minute. Penalty! Cayetano AFC:s Xofre Maixenchs showed great skill when he stopped Edmund Kvick:s penalty. In the 38th minute, Oroitz Salto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Xofre Maixenchs was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 42 minutes into the game, Andrés Clavijo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Xofre Maixenchs was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Oroitz Salto came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Sangre Charrúa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oroitz Salto couldn't finish the play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After having played for 52 minutes, Munio Santervas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sangre Charrúa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Munio Santervas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 53 minutes into the match, Oroitz Salto notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Cayetano AFC's Xofre Maixenchs. Xofre Maixenchs was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Oroitz Salto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andrés Clavijo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Cordarin Valle fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cayetano AFC's protests and gave Cordarin Valle a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Cayetano AFC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Cordarin Valle hit a great ball. If Oroitz Salto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Millrick Cotan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xofre Maixenchs having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Oroitz Salto put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Xofre Maixenchs. Munio Santervas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Millrick Cotan kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Cayetano AFC's Nayely Percaz shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 81st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Urko Fernando but with some difficulty. After some careless play in the Cayetano AFC defense, Oroitz Salto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Xofre Maixenchs. The Cayetano AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Xofre Maixenchs should have stopped the shot. Sangre Charrúa's Oroitz Salto got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oroitz Salto couldn't finish the play. 92 minutes into the match, Benedicto Cerrabe had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Xofre Maixenchs. Cayetano AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benedicto Cerrabe was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. Sangre Charrúa walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
