The Centro fans' excitement grew in the 4th match minute when Centro's Duardo Cañon looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A hard shot 10 in the game by Severino Piñango from a close distance when the talented Haimar Casielles managed to make a qualified save. Centro's players were relieved. Wilfredo Frera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Menafra's Bazkoare Fueyo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duardo Cañon in the 14th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Duardo Cañon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Centro fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Bazkoare Fueyo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Duardo Cañon in the 22nd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jerano Ordas during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Centro booed when Menafra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jerano Ordas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bazkoare Fueyo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Txartiko Carral, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Haimar Casielles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luken Lerin in the 30th minute. In the 32nd minute, Txartiko Carral ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bazkoare Fueyo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Haimar Casielles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilfredo Frera in the 36th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Centro's Remigio Zaldua got a free kick in the 37th minute. The supporters of Menafra booed when Centro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edwardo Arguiso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Txartiko Carral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Centro's Txartiko Carral in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Menafra's goalie prevented a goal. In the 47th minute Txartiko Carral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bazkoare Fueyo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wilfredo Frera made a kick off. Txartiko Carral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Centro booed when Menafra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luken Lerin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bazkoare Fueyo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Txartiko Carral in the 60th minute. In the 62nd minute, Txartiko Carral got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bazkoare Fueyo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Duardo Cañon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Txartiko Carral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th minute, Domenico Antigua hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Remigio Zaldua managed to get in a good position for a shot. Centro's supporters rose to their feet, but Remigio Zaldua was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bazkoare Fueyo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 82 minutes into the game, Centro's Duardo Cañon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bazkoare Fueyo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. In the 90th minute Remigio Zaldua shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bazkoare Fueyo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, Duardo Cañon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bazkoare Fueyo. Menafra's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Duardo Cañon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Centro played a much better game than Menafra and deserved their victory. The Menafra players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
