Spectators: 6697 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1697, VIP seats: 0) Sauce AFC's Erubiel Torralbo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Sauce AFC's Vasco Orbañanos got a free kick in the 10th minute. If Fernan Romano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. James Ayuso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eulalio Rivacoba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elazar Pares kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Fernandez Larabiedra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erubiel Torralbo in the 18th minute of the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 24 minutes into the game, when Luisito Herro put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 23rd minute of the game. One of Joanico AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sauce AFC:s goal. Erubiel Torralbo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 35th minute, Vasco Orbañanos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Eulalio Rivacoba came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Joanico AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eulalio Rivacoba couldn't finish the play. If Xzavier Pujol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eulalio Rivacoba made a kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Sauce AFC's Erubiel Torralbo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fernandez Larabiedra made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. If Xzavier Pujol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rdth minute of the game Erubiel Torralbo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Joanico AFC's Fernandez Larabiedra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fernandez Larabiedra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erubiel Torralbo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Joanico AFC's zone, Xzavier Pujol stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernandez Larabiedra came out of the goal and Xzavier Pujol tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fernandez Larabiedra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xzavier Pujol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Joanico AFC's Eulalio Rivacoba got a free kick in the 80th minute. Fernandez Larabiedra came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Sauce AFC's Erubiel Torralbo. But to his dismay, Erubiel Torralbo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Camilo Betancurt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eulalio Rivacoba could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but James Ayuso made a huge save. Fernandez Larabiedra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xzavier Pujol in the 98th minute of play.
