The supporters of Conchillas booed when Vila was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xavieon Rocafort didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Cesar Amundarain managed to avoid a goal in the 28thth minute, when Conchillas's Felix Aostri fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Hug Portero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eron Juez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Errolan Mobilla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cesar Amundarain made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aquilino Adornio in the 39th minute of play. Errolan Mobilla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eron Juez having to interfere. Hug Portero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Eron Juez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Conchillas players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Vila were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Errolan Mobilla to make the kick off. A wasted opportunity for Conchillas. The Conchillas players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
