Spectators: 7408 (Terracing: 5556, Seating: 1704, VIP seats: 148) Vila's Errolan Mobilla started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lopez Vela struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Cesar Amundarain didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for THE DOMINGOS. Lopez Vela recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gonza Barcia hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Gonza Barcia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paul Amador having to make a save. Cesar Amundarain made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lopez Vela in the 23rd minute. After a rather tough play, Vila's Gonza Barcia got a free kick in the 24th minute. After having played for 28 minutes, Hug Portero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vila's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hug Portero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Errolan Mobilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Heitor Aldaeta made the kick off in the second half. Vila's Cesar Amundarain played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lopez Vela in the 54th minute of play. Lopez Vela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesar Amundarain having to interfere. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vila's goalkeeper Cesar Amundarain, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Abel Machuca kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Heitor Aldaeta in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cesar Amundarain prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Errolan Mobilla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 64 minutes into the game, one of THE DOMINGOS:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Lopez Vela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Cesar Amundarain tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Vila's Olivar Tarresola got a free kick in the 76th minute. THE DOMINGOS's defense didn't have a chance, in the 82nd minute, when Gonza Barcia scored to the left of an out of position Paul Amador, making the score, 0-2. Paul Amador didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gonza Barcia went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. THE DOMINGOS were awarded a corner in the 91th minute after Vila's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Errapel Barreiros took the corner. In the 92nd minute of the match Tolino Mel sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cesar Amundarain skillfully saved the ball. Vila's Cesar Amundarain played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Heitor Aldaeta in the 95th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in THE DOMINGOS's zone, Hug Portero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paul Amador came out of the goal and Hug Portero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vila played a much better game than THE DOMINGOS and deserved their victory. The THE DOMINGOS players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
