Spectators: 6690 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1690, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gipuzkoa Castaneda took the kick off in the first half of the match. Demesio Cabarcos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lleir Notes in the 4th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gipuzkoa Castaneda during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Duranzo AFC's Gipuzkoa Castaneda got a free kick in the 5th minute. 10 minutes into the game, Cordaryal Arteaga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Batista Vilar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Duranzo AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Otsoko Molino in the 15th minute. The corner led Duranzo AFC's Otsoko Molino to fire away a dangerous shot which Batista Vilar despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. PEÑAROL's Batista Vilar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save PEÑAROL from getting a goal against them. Batista Vilar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gipuzkoa Castaneda in the 18th minute of play. PEÑAROL's defense didn't have a chance, in the 19th minute, when Cordaryal Arteaga scored to the left of an out of position Batista Vilar, making the score, 2-0. In the 24th minute, Otsoko Molino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th minute Lleir Notes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demesio Cabarcos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Batista Vilar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gipuzkoa Castaneda, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. 34 minutes into the match, PEÑAROL's goalkeeper Batista Vilar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cordaryal Arteaga. Batista Vilar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cordaryal Arteaga in the 37th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cordaryal Arteaga got free with Batista Vilar in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 42nd minute of the match Gartzi Guim shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Demesio Cabarcos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Lleir Notes made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Duranzo AFC booed when PEÑAROL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manilan Remiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Batista Vilar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Otsoko Molino in the 57th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Michel Estibalez during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Batista Vilar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gipuzkoa Castaneda in the 70th minute of play. In the 80th minute Urdin Bergues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Batista Vilar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ciriaco Elzuardi was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 89 minutes into the match. Otsoko Molino shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. When the referee ended the match the Duranzo AFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
