Spectators: 6706 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1706, VIP seats: 0) Baygorria's Zumar Velis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, Cortume FC's goalkeeper Pere Capell had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rodolfo Paniagua. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cortume FC's goalkeeper Pere Capell, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Elazar Cruzado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cortume FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Elazar Cruzado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicanor Trevijano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Baygorria's zone, Sindo Cabria stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicanor Trevijano came out of the goal and Sindo Cabria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodolfo Paniagua got free with Pere Capell in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 24th minute, Elazar Cruzado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 26th minute, Zumar Velis made a precise shot to the right of Pere Capell. Cortume FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Sindo Cabria's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nicanor Trevijano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. When Cortume FC's Elazar Cruzado in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Baygorria's goalie prevented a goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Elazar Cruzado made a kick off. Zumar Velis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pere Capell having to interfere. If Zumar Velis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rodolfo Paniagua blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pere Capell having to make a save. If Rodolfo Paniagua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Rodolfo Paniagua managed to get in a good position for a shot. Baygorria's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodolfo Paniagua was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pere Capell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zumar Velis, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Aznar Tamajon charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aznar Tamajon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Aznar Tamajon hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. If Rodolfo Paniagua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zumar Velis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Pere Capell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sindo Cabria took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nicanor Trevijano. Nicanor Trevijano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Aznar Tamajon was shown his second yellow card after 94 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Baygorria booed when Cortume FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aznar Tamajon didn't get a good kick on the ball. 96 minutes into the match, Rodolfo Paniagua had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pere Capell. Cortume FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rodolfo Paniagua was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Baygorria were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Cortume FC for a fine match.
