Mannie Cossio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Galeno Trianes in the 16th minute of the match. Galeno Trianes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mannie Cossio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Buceo FC's goalkeeper Cuarto Ruega had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lop Cabanela. 30 minutes into the match, Buceo FC's Sotero Zarate sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mannie Cossio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osoro Salce in the 31st minute of play forced SPORTIVO NUEVOS PESOS's goalkeeper Mannie Cossio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 32 played minutes SPORTIVO NUEVOS PESOS got a freekick which was hit by Larpe Celis. After 41 minutes of play, Buceo FC's Galeno Trianes made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mannie Cossio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Osoro Salce struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Mannie Cossio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Buceo FC. A collision led to Buceo FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Laurin Ameyugo hit a great ball. 66 minutes into the game, Lop Cabanela cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Cuarto Ruega was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Lop Cabanela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Larpe Celis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cuarto Ruega having to interfere. After some careless play in the Buceo FC defense, Lop Cabanela kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cuarto Ruega. The Buceo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cuarto Ruega should have stopped the shot. Lop Cabanela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cuarto Ruega having to interfere. Ospin Mendivil blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cuarto Ruega having to make a save. Cuarto Ruega showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lop Cabanela in the 85th minute of the match. After 86 minutes Buceo FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Esdras Mariña who took care of the corner kick. A well done corner resulted in Maureo Rubio drilling the ball in to score 3-2 behind Buceo FC's goalkeeper. After 90 minutes, Zenaido Cela mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Buceo FC and the SPORTIVO NUEVOS PESOS players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Buceo FC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Zenaido Cela hit a great ball. Cuarto Ruega made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lop Cabanela in the 94th minute of play. In the 96th minute Lop Cabanela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cuarto Ruega saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
