Udalaitz Bengoa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bautista Medel having to make a save. Zaquiel Soveron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Aureliano Arango managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tiatucura FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Aureliano Arango was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. William Alcalde breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 24th minute, Inaki Urbina got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Udalaitz Bengoa put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Bautista Medel. After 33 played minutes Tiatucura FC got a freekick which was hit by Feliberto Gavito. 35 minutes into the game, Fortun Payno was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Terremoto's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tiatucura FC the free kick. In the 35th match minute, Terremoto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fortun Payno to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Terremoto's goalkeeper William Alcalde, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Galeno Casado charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Galeno Casado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 43 played minutes Tiatucura FC got a freekick which was hit by Galeno Casado. Zaquiel Soveron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Bautista Medel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Udalaitz Bengoa to strike the kick off in the second half. Inaki Urbina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without William Alcalde having to interfere. Udalaitz Bengoa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Zaquiel Soveron came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Terremoto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zaquiel Soveron couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inaki Urbina in the 67th minute of play forced Terremoto's goalkeeper William Alcalde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Terremoto's William Alcalde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Inaki Urbina in the 71st minute of play. Aureliano Arango fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without William Alcalde having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aureliano Arango in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg William Alcalde saved Terremoto from getting behind. 85 minutes into the game, Nayely Tixido was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Terremoto's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tiatucura FC the free kick. A collision led to Terremoto getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Nayely Tixido hit a great ball. In the 88th minute, Inaki Urbina ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. William Alcalde was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 94th minute, Inaki Urbina left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tiatucura FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Tiatucura FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
