Seating: 1690, VIP seats: 0) Chacarita's Estebe Ochagavia started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Galsino Muelas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Paulo Mascaran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Toledo's Xaime Beltranilla got control of the ball when Ladio Escandàn tried to sneak it across the goal line. Modesto Pedraza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Vasco Buedo fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Toledo's protests and gave Vasco Buedo a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Chacarita booed when Toledo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vasco Buedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Modesto Pedraza in the 15thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Xaime Beltranilla, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Paulo Mascaran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Madaleno Elenes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Madaleno Elenes in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulo Mascaran saved Chacarita from getting behind. Madaleno Elenes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Paulo Mascaran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Galsino Muelas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Madaleno Elenes in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paulo Mascaran prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Paulo Mascaran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Galsino Muelas in the 29th minute of the match. Modesto Pedraza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Xaime Beltranilla made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Modesto Pedraza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chacarita's supporters rose to their feet, but Modesto Pedraza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xaime Beltranilla breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Modesto Pedraza got free with Xaime Beltranilla in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Xaime Beltranilla came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Chacarita's Modesto Pedraza. But to his dismay, Modesto Pedraza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Modesto Pedraza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Xaime Beltranilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Estebe Ochagavia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Galsino Muelas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Galsino Muelas in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulo Mascaran saved Chacarita from getting behind. When Kiliz Matos fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Toledo's protests and gave Kiliz Matos a yellow card for diving instead. Estebe Ochagavia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Madaleno Elenes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Mascaran having to interfere. Oalo Ucieda hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. The long shot by Piarres Panero in the 66th minute really tested Paulo Mascaran's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Paulo Mascaran made an important save on a dangerous shot by Madaleno Elenes in the 68th minute. If Modesto Pedraza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. Madaleno Eleness short, quick shot in the 96thth minute got Paulo Mascaran to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 97th match minute, Chacarita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ladio Escandàn to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 98 minutes, Madaleno Elenes took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Paulo Mascaran to make any attempt to save it. Chacarita walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
