Bernard Camats hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Punta Carretas FC's Maximo Valino slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Vitor Palou. That made the score 1-0 after 7 minutes of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Claus Cobredo during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 10 played minutes Lunarejo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Claus Cobredo. Santiago Ramirez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Lunarejo AFC's zone, Santiago Ramirez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vitor Palou came out of the goal and Santiago Ramirez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Punta Carretas FC's Edmund Kazimierz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristofor Villasana in the 33rd minute of play. Santiago Ramirez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37th minute, Bartoleme Ocouto fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 38thth minute of the game Bartoleme Ocouto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lunarejo AFC's Vitor Palou was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Santiago Ramirez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Punta Carretas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Santiago Ramirez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vitor Palou breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 41st minute, Telo Palomera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Lunarejo AFC's Cristofor Villasana got a free kick in the 43rd minute. An unexpected shot in the 46th minute by Bartoleme Ocouto got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bernabe Cotobal was the one to do the kick off. Santiago Ramirez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 52nd minute, Santiago Ramirez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vitor Palou was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Edmund Kazimierz made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Loco Endaya sent off a good shot on target. In the 58th minute, Cloyo Corono hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 65 minutes into the match, Loco Endaya notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Punta Carretas FC's Edmund Kazimierz. Edmund Kazimierz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 70th minute, Bernabe Cotobal reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Edmund Kazimierz. The goal made the score 2-3. Bartoleme Ocouto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Vitor Palou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vitor Palou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartoleme Ocouto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Evert Julin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 81 minutes into the game, Punta Carretas FC's Bartoleme Ocouto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vitor Palou made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. In the 90thth minute of the game Santiago Ramirez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lunarejo AFC's Vitor Palou was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Punta Carretas FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Lunarejo AFC for a fine match.
