Seating: 1710, VIP seats: 0) Apolo Somiedo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute, one of Sosa:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sosa. Vicente Rigueiro kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Fliz Abeita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bartoleme Ingla kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Salamon Cordova fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Berenguer Salero having to interfere. Apolo Somiedo struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Egoitz Carriedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paysandu. The audience was convinced that Apolo Somiedo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Egoitz Carriedo was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. In the 35th minute, Dalmu Jaurigui hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Berenguer Salero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fliz Abeita in the 40th minute of play. Berenguer Salero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fliz Abeita in the 48th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
Apolo Somiedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Egoitz Carriedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Oxarra Cura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Egoitz Carriedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Apolo Somiedo in the 58th minute of the match. Darien Lorenzo charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Darien Lorenzo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Sosa getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Darien Lorenzo hit a great ball. Oxarra Cura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egoitz Carriedo having to interfere. Berenguer Salero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fliz Abeita, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. After 76 played minutes Sosa got a freekick which was hit by Darien Lorenzo. Apolo Somiedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Egoitz Carriedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sosa's goalkeeper Egoitz Carriedo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dalmu Jaurigui during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 81 played minutes Sosa got a freekick which was hit by Dalmu Jaurigui. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Apolo Somiedo in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Egoitz Carriedo saved Sosa from getting behind. Oxarra Cura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egoitz Carriedo having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Bartoleme Ingla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Playo Riero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sosa's supporters rose to their feet, but Playo Riero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Berenguer Salero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Salamon Cordova struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Berenguer Salero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sosa. 96 minutes into the match, Paysandu's goalkeeper Berenguer Salero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Salamon Cordova. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sosa players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Paysandu.
