After a rather tough play, City Park's Lucio Illescas got a free kick in the 6th minute. After 13 played minutes Trinidad FC got a freekick which was hit by Tabor Muñoyerro. City Park were awarded a corner in the 15th minute after Trinidad FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Guido Sepulveda took the corner. The corner ended in Guido Sepulveda almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Trinidad FC's Bide Oznayo did a great save. With a little luck, Trinidad FC's Bide Oznayo got control of the ball when Steven Gajardo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Geraldo Izcaray showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serapio Pato in the 25th minute of the match. Pacifico Barajas kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Geraldo Izcaray was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 47 minutes into the match, Trinidad FC's goalkeeper Bide Oznayo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Derwin Majua. A hard shot 48 in the game by Savier Guifens from a close distance when the talented Bide Oznayo managed to make a qualified save. Trinidad FC's players were relieved. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

In the 53rd match minute, Trinidad FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bartolo Aleja to maneuver through the defense. Bide Oznayo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Savier Guifens, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Geraldo Izcaray made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Illan Maroño sent off a good shot on target. Bide Oznayo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Savier Guifens went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind City Park's goalkeeper Geraldo Izcaray, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Beltza Amaya hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Illan Maroño received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Geraldo Izcaray came out and tried to block the shot, but Illan Maroño slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 78th minute. If Derwin Majua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Derwin Majua sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 92 minutes into the match, Trinidad FC's goal looked a bit too open when Derwin Majua came free, but Bide Oznayo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Trinidad FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Trinidad FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
