City Park's Geraldo Izcaray played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zoilo Espriella in the 8th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Pintos's zone, Derwin Majua stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brun Estopinal came out of the goal and Derwin Majua tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, City Park's Guido Sepulveda got a free kick in the 17th minute. City Park's Geraldo Izcaray played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jesus Almandoz in the 20th minute of play. Savier Guifens might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Brun Estopinal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Savier Guifens ran back to his position shaking his head. Savier Guifens struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Brun Estopinal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for City Park. Amador Aguiluz kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. With a little luck, Pintos's Brun Estopinal got control of the ball when Savier Guifens tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the City Park defense, Zoilo Espriella kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Geraldo Izcaray. The City Park fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Geraldo Izcaray should have stopped the shot. Brun Estopinal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xan Puerta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Savier Guifens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Savier Guifens's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Brun Estopinal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. After 45 minutes, Ralondo Brañas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the City Park and the Pintos players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Pintos booed when City Park was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ralondo Brañas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jesus Almandoz to make the kick off. When Derwin Majua came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the City Park fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Derwin Majua couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jesus Almandoz in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Geraldo Izcaray prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 62 minutes into the game, Pintos's Zoilo Espriella nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Geraldo Izcaray made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Brun Estopinal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xan Puerta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 72 minutes of play City Park's Ralondo Brañas was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Ralondo Brañas kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Xan Puerta managed to get in a good position for a shot. City Park's supporters rose to their feet, but Xan Puerta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brun Estopinal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Xan Puerta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Brun Estopinal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Gerazan Foubelo fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pintos's protests and gave Gerazan Foubelo a yellow card for diving instead. 89 minutes into the game, Xavian Magaña was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. City Park's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pintos the free kick. A collision led to City Park getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Xavian Magaña hit a great ball. The Pintos players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
