An unexpectedly hard shot by Gil Cothal in the 5th minute of play forced Escudero's goalkeeper Derwin Rius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Urki Puentes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. CF Parque Batlle's Gil Cothal got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 11 played minutes Escudero got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Arozamena. Derwin Rius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gil Cothal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Urki Puentes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Derwin Rius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Atauri Reizabal in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Armando Pachon saved CF Parque Batlle from getting behind. When Jesus Velon fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CF Parque Batlle's protests and gave Jesus Velon a yellow card for diving instead. After 17 played minutes CF Parque Batlle got a freekick which was hit by Jesus Velon. Atauri Reizabal struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Armando Pachon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Escudero. Atauri Reizabal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Armando Pachon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Caetano Entrena notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of CF Parque Batlle's Armando Pachon. Armando Pachon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Caetano Entrena scored 0-2 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Armando Pachon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sebastian Arozamena charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sebastian Arozamena the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sebastian Arozamena kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Urki Puentes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 32ndth minute tested the skills of Derwin Rius when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Armando Pachon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caetano Entrena in the 34th minute of the match. Armando Pachon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caetano Entrena in the 37th minute of play. When Lon Erce fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CF Parque Batlle's protests and gave Lon Erce a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, CF Parque Batlle's Lon Erce got a free kick in the 38th minute. When Atauri Reizabal came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Escudero fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Atauri Reizabal couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, CF Parque Batlle's Beltxe Manzarias got a free kick in the 40th minute. In the 46th minute Caetano Entrena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Pachon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Atauri Reizabal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The CF Parque Batlle players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Escudero were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gil Cothal made a kick off. Gil Cothal struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Derwin Rius didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CF Parque Batlle. After 58 played minutes Escudero got a freekick which was hit by Iliana Solloso. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ryan Padrones during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 67 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Escudero! In the 70th minute there was a penalty for CF Parque Batlle. Beltxe Manzarias stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Derwin Rius. 1-2. Escudero's Ryan Padrones got his second yellow card of the match in the 72nd minute. The referee ordered Ryan Padrones off the ground. The supporters of CF Parque Batlle booed when Escudero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ryan Padrones didn't get a good kick on the ball. Atauri Reizabal came free with the goalkeeper in the 76th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Armando Pachon could save by the left post. Atauri Reizabal struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Armando Pachon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Escudero. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sebastian Arozamena got free with Armando Pachon in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 80th minute, CF Parque Batlle's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Atauri Reizabal fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Armando Pachon made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Atauri Reizabal sent off a good shot on target. Atauri Reizabal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Armando Pachon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Escudero defense, Gil Cothal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Derwin Rius. The Escudero fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Derwin Rius should have stopped the shot. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
