Maguna's Uxio Vial played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leo Abellaneda in the 14th minute of play. Leo Abellaneda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Uxio Vial tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Beat Alfebra charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Beat Alfebra the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 22 played minutes Maguna got a freekick which was hit by Beat Alfebra. The supporters of Zambullon FC booed when Maguna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kimetz Mostaza didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 26 minutes, Leo Abellaneda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zambullon FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leo Abellaneda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Oalo Oblanca hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. If Nelio Belorado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Zambullon FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Errolan Cembranos hit a great ball. After 43 played minutes Maguna got a freekick which was hit by Beat Alfebra. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nelio Belorado was the one to do the kick off. Uxio Vial made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nataniel Laranga in the 53rd minute. In the 55th minute, Nataniel Laranga made a precise shot to the right of Uxio Vial. Maguna's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Nataniel Laranga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. In the 79th minute, Errolan Cembranos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 82 minutes into the match, Zambullon FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kimetz Mostaza came free, but Peter Larrechi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Maguna fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Zambullon FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
