Spectators: 6698 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1698, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Agostinho Sanes kicked off to start the match. Loreto Aubert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Blasi Barrillos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Salto's zone, Loreto Aubert stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Blasi Barrillos came out of the goal and Loreto Aubert tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 14 played minutes Salto got a freekick which was hit by Maurino Castañeda. Beltran Larrave sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Quirce Cavero fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aguila AFC's protests and gave Quirce Cavero a yellow card for diving instead. In the 22nd minute, Quirce Cavero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Estebano Alseda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beltran Larrave in the 24th minute of play. When Salto's Agostinho Sanes in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Aguila AFC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 38th minute, Loreto Aubert got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Salto's Blasi Barrillos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Salto from getting a goal against them. If Loreto Aubert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

In the 52nd minute, one of Salto:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Salto. Anibal Hernandez shot the penalty kick right outside the post. In the 61stth minute of the game Dorio Abello who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Salto's Blasi Barrillos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 70th play minute Beltran Larrave came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Estebano Alseda. 1-1. Blasi Barrillos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dorio Abello in the 75th minute of play. Beltran Larrave might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Estebano Alseda. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Beltran Larrave ran back to his position shaking his head. Estebano Alseda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agostinho Sanes in the 79th minute of the match. If Beltran Larrave had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tiago Camats sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th minute, Agostinho Sanes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Estebano Alseda made an important save on a dangerous shot by Beltran Larrave in the 92nd minute. The supporters of Salto booed when Aguila AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jerrold Seron didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Salto eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
