In the 70th minute, Mataojito AFC's Charro Copeiro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Blasi Barrillos. Blasi Barrillos yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. Salto's Blasi Barrillos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Salto from getting a goal against them. Alex Camba's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mirande Sereno read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Agostinho Sanes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Beltran Larrave fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mirande Sereno having to interfere. 91 minutes into the match, Mataojito AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Agostinho Sanes came free, but Mirande Sereno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mirande Sereno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beltran Larrave in the 95th minute of play. In the 96th minute, Beltran Larrave made a precise shot to the right of Mirande Sereno. Mataojito AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2.
