Romulo Palianza who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 12thth minute tested the skills of Silvio Nobo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Clawirton Macon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jakue Casas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Silvio Nobo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Jerico Mejina fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vinolles's protests and gave Jerico Mejina a yellow card for diving instead. In the 28th minute, Jerico Mejina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 33 played minutes Vinolles got a freekick which was hit by Modesto Liquiñano. Jakue Casas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Clawirton Macon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicemte Aedo having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jerico Mejina stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Silvio Nobo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ler Segarra in the 57th minute of play. Xan Novales's late challenge caught a Vinolles's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Xan Novales helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Montevideo getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Xan Novales hit a great ball. In the 61st minute, Rius Morodo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Silvio Nobo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jakue Casas in the 62nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Montevideo's Mergildo Miquelarena got a free kick in the 66th minute. Jerico Mejina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicemte Aedo having to interfere. In the 70th match minute, Vinolles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Modesto Liquiñano to maneuver through the defense. Vinolles's Silvio Nobo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jakue Casas in the 71st minute of play. Silvio Nobo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romulo Palianza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 75 minutes, Justino Mejia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vinolles and the Montevideo players grew even worse after the yellow card. 77 minutes into the match, Vinolles's goal looked a bit too open when Romulo Palianza came free, but Silvio Nobo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mergildo Miquelarena charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mergildo Miquelarena the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Montevideo's Mergildo Miquelarena got a free kick in the 79th minute. 82 minutes into the match, Vinolles's goal looked a bit too open when Romulo Palianza came free, but Silvio Nobo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rius Morodo during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Romulo Palianza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rius Morodo was shown his second yellow card after 93 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 93 played minutes Vinolles got a freekick which was hit by Rius Morodo. If Jakue Casas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
