Spectators: 6723 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Bidun Zayas kicked off to start the match. Gilesindo Cabezas charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gilesindo Cabezas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of C. A. Peñarol booed when Raigon FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilesindo Cabezas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Raigon FC's zone, Cristian Correia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oswaldo Coracera came out of the goal and Cristian Correia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. C. A. Peñarol's Kaiet Palacio got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 8 minutes into the match, C. A. Peñarol's goalkeeper Erramu Herreros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sotil Bandera. Cristian Correia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 16th match minute, Raigon FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brais Monroy to maneuver through the defense. The C. A. Peñarol fans' excitement grew in the 31st match minute when C. A. Peñarol's Cristian Correia looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 36 minutes into the game, C. A. Peñarol's Ritchie Asuaga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Oswaldo Coracera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. If Kaiet Palacio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Brais Monroy fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Raigon FC's protests and gave Brais Monroy a yellow card for diving instead. In the 41st minute, Brais Monroy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Raigon FC's Oswaldo Coracera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaiet Palacio in the 46th minute of play. After the first half C. A. Peñarol were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Cristian Correia made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Kaiet Palacio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oswaldo Coracera was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Oswaldo Coracera didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 57th minute, which inside left pole to 0-5. Oswaldo Coracera made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Cristian Correia sent off a good shot on target. In the 63rd minute, C. A. Peñarol's Cristian Correia ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Oswaldo Coracera. Oswaldo Coracera yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. 66 minutes into the match, C. A. Peñarol's Dario Breogan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Oswaldo Coracera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 70 played minutes Raigon FC got a freekick which was hit by Sotil Bandera. Oswaldo Coracera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaiet Palacio in the 75th minute of the match. In the 76th minute, Cristian Correia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Oswaldo Coracera was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. In the 80th minute, Sotil Bandera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 84 played minutes Kaiet Palacio rounded Raigon FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-8. 87 minutes into the match, C. A. Peñarol's goal looked a bit too open when Bidun Zayas came free, but Erramu Herreros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kaiet Palacio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oswaldo Coracera having to interfere. After 92 minutes of play Raigon FC's Brais Monroy was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 93rd match minute, Raigon FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brais Monroy to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilesindo Cabezas in the 96th minute of play forced C. A. Peñarol's goalkeeper Erramu Herreros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. C. A. Peñarol's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
