Spectators: 6708 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1708, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Rayman Chandeiro kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute Rayman Chandeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Furtado Verdeces saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Reynold AFC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Casomiro Caldevilla hit a great ball. When Urtsua Lueje came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Itapebi AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Urtsua Lueje couldn't finish the play. When Rosalio Pintado fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Itapebi AFC's protests and gave Rosalio Pintado a yellow card for diving instead. After 19 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Itapebi AFC! 28 minutes into the match, Ekialde Pillado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Furtado Verdeces. Itapebi AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ekialde Pillado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In a very dangerous position, a player in Itapebi AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 33rd minute. Penalty! Furtado Verdeces went to the wrong direction when Oscar Baca was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Rayman Chandeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Furtado Verdeces having to interfere. Rayman Chandeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th minute, Ekialde Pillado fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. If Rayman Chandeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th play minute Ekialde Pillado came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Furtado Verdeces. 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lleir Guiza to strike the kick off in the second half. Furtado Verdeces made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rayman Chandeiro in the 53rd minute of play. Sebastian Salgado's late challenge caught a Reynold AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sebastian Salgado helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Reynold AFC booed when Itapebi AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Salgado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Urtsua Lueje's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Vermudo Gavela firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 62nd minute Ekialde Pillado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Furtado Verdeces saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Itapebi AFC's zone, Rayman Chandeiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Furtado Verdeces came out of the goal and Rayman Chandeiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ekialde Pillado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Furtado Verdeces having to interfere. Urtsua Lueje might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vermudo Gavela. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Urtsua Lueje ran back to his position shaking his head. Furtado Verdeces took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ekialde Pillado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Furtado Verdeces stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rayman Chandeiro's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. 82 minutes into the match, Reynold AFC's Rayman Chandeiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Furtado Verdeces narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Reynold AFC's Vermudo Gavela proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Reynold AFC from getting a goal against them. Lleir Guiza struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Vermudo Gavela didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Itapebi AFC. After a rather tough play, Reynold AFC's Moises Lunar got a free kick in the 89th minute. Lleir Guiza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Itapebi AFC's Tebaldo Masferrer got a free kick in the 94th minute. After a rather tough play, Reynold AFC's Paulo Seral got a free kick in the 96th minute. Itapebi AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
