Spectators: 6690 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1690, VIP seats: 0) Celipe Manzano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hartz Lima's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. Hartz Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celipe Manzano having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Juango Arcos in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Celipe Manzano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 7 minutes into the match, Hartz Lima notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Maldonado FC's Celipe Manzano. Celipe Manzano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Azibar Autran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Pablo-Enrique Basallan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Maldonado FC's zone, Hartz Lima stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Celipe Manzano came out of the goal and Hartz Lima tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Zarando Villacanes came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Maldonado FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zarando Villacanes couldn't finish the play. Zarando Villacanes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Pablo-Enrique Basallan made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zarando Villacanes got free with Pablo-Enrique Basallan in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Azibar Autran was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 31st minute. Maldonado FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Zarando Villacanes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zarando Villacanes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Pablo-Enrique Basallan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lartaun Burualla during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 46 minutes into the match, Hartz Lima had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Celipe Manzano. Maldonado FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hartz Lima was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Azibar Autran was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Inter booed when Maldonado FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zarando Villacanes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Inter's zone, Zarando Villacanes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pablo-Enrique Basallan came out of the goal and Zarando Villacanes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hartz Lima was extremely unlucky when he, in the 67th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Azibar Autran scored 1-2 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pablo-Enrique Basallan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Tito Madrazo fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maldonado FC's protests and gave Tito Madrazo a yellow card for diving instead. After 75 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Maldonado FC! Azibar Autran might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pablo-Enrique Basallan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Azibar Autran ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Azibar Autran managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maldonado FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Azibar Autran was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pablo-Enrique Basallan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hartz Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celipe Manzano having to interfere.
