Txindoki Cascos might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gauargi Usarralde. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Txindoki Cascos ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Cardozo FC's Alfredo Barboa got a free kick in the 29th minute. Gauargi Usarralde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Txindoki Cascos in the 36th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Rodney Licon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Txindoki Cascos in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gauargi Usarralde saved Cardozo FC from getting behind. A collision led to Mirotaun getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Diagur Valenciano hit a great ball. Iban Umaña took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 44th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rafe Pastor. Mirotaun's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ebardo Sancha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Xosepin Harroyo got free with Rafe Pastor in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Xosepin Harroyo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafe Pastor having to interfere. Cardozo FC's Gauargi Usarralde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodney Licon in the 74th minute of play. A hard shot 76 in the game by Ebardo Sancha from a close distance when the talented Rafe Pastor managed to make a qualified save. Mirotaun's players were relieved. 79 minutes into the match, Mirotaun's goal looked a bit too open when Xosepin Harroyo came free, but Rafe Pastor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mirotaun's Diagur Valenciano got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
