Menafra AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PEÑAROL l B l the free kick. The supporters of PEÑAROL l B l booed when Menafra AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ekialde Claveria didn't get a good kick on the ball. Munio Tellez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ciceron Cainzos in the 13th minute. In the 23rd minute, Bernabe Comparada left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Menafra AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Munio Tellez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vitório de Carvalho in the 32nd minute of the match. Ciceron Cainzos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Munio Tellez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vitório de Carvalho in the 42nd minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Menafra AFC's goalkeeper Munio Tellez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ciceron Cainzos. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vitório de Carvalho to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, PEÑAROL l B l's goal looked a bit too open when Oskitz Santiso came free, but Musko Purrigimon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to PEÑAROL l B l getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Cloyo Labora hit a great ball. PEÑAROL l B l made a substitution. Danel Ochari replaced Ciceron Cainzos. In the 64th match minute, PEÑAROL l B l was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cloyo Labora to maneuver through the defense. When Marcelo Argudo came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Menafra AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcelo Argudo couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, PEÑAROL l B l's Musko Purrigimon got control of the ball when Bernabe Comparada tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Danel Ochari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Munio Tellez came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by PEÑAROL l B l's Danel Ochari. But to his dismay, Danel Ochari quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. A collision led to Menafra AFC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Marcelo Argudo hit a great ball. After 88 minutes of play, PEÑAROL l B l's Danel Ochari made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Munio Tellez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Oskitz Santiso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Musko Purrigimon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play.
