Urre Moreira, 11 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 14 minutes into the match, Neto Jerez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benjamin Montaño. Centro FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Neto Jerez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After having played for 20 minutes, Raulo Islañana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cerrillada's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raulo Islañana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Cerrillada's Furman Terminel got control of the ball when Rocio Hompanera tried to sneak it across the goal line. Benjamin Montaño made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Neto Jerez in the 28th minute of play. In the 31st match minute, Cerrillada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urre Moreira to maneuver through the defense. When Xaver Aranguiz came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Centro FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xaver Aranguiz couldn't finish the play. If Fidel Represa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Xaver Aranguiz came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Centro FC fans jumped to their feet. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

After 52 minutes of play Centro FC's Fidel Represa was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Fidel Represa hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Raulo Islañana in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benjamin Montaño prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Neto Jerez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cerrillada's supporters rose to their feet, but Neto Jerez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benjamin Montaño breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Raulo Islañana came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Cerrillada fans jumped to their feet. In the 61stth minute of the game Neto Jerez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Centro FC's Benjamin Montaño was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Raulo Islañana's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benjamin Montaño was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Neto Jerezs short, quick shot in the 85thth minute got Benjamin Montaño to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a little luck, Centro FC's Benjamin Montaño got control of the ball when Neto Jerez tried to sneak it across the goal line.
