Spectators: 6701 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1701, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Xaver Aranguiz took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Vitorino Guardamino fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Menafra AFC's protests and gave Vitorino Guardamino a yellow card for diving instead. In the 3rd match minute, Menafra AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vitorino Guardamino to maneuver through the defense. Marcelo Argudo hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Martxelin Endaya took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 6th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Munio Tellez. Menafra AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 11th minute of the match Agustin Boreyta sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Munio Tellez skillfully saved the ball. Rocio Hompanera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Menafra AFC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Henric Monsagrati hit a great ball. In the 21st minute Xaver Aranguiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Munio Tellez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute of the match Frasco Asteguieta sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benjamin Montaño skillfully saved the ball. After 24 minutes, Vicente Orbea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Menafra AFC and the Centro FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Xaver Aranguiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christian Ibern's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benjamin Montaño read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Oskitz Santiso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Oskitz Santiso had several of the Centro FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 34 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Benjamin Montaño as he didn't even see the shot coming. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Udalaitz Beneit during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 40 minutes into the match, Menafra AFC's Marcelo Argudo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Munio Tellez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rocio Hompanera in the 42nd minute of the match. Xaver Aranguiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Munio Tellez having to interfere. After 56 minutes of play, Menafra AFC's Vitorino Guardamino made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benjamin Montaño was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fidel Represa hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Oskitz Santiso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benjamin Montaño read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Vitorino Guardamino struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Benjamin Montaño didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Menafra AFC. Munio Tellez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xaver Aranguiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th minute, Rocio Hompanera ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Munio Tellez was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Menafra AFC's zone, Rocio Hompanera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Munio Tellez came out of the goal and Rocio Hompanera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 92nd minute, Rocio Hompanera got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 93rd minute, Xaver Aranguiz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Menafra AFC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
