In the 5th minute Xaver Aranguiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Musko Purrigimon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Ciceron Cainzos managed to get in a good position for a shot. PEÑAROL l B l's supporters rose to their feet, but Ciceron Cainzos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benjamin Montaño breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Musko Purrigimon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xaver Aranguiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Centro FC booed when PEÑAROL l B l was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christiano Lezcano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rocio Hompanera scored 1-0 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Musko Purrigimon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Centro FC's Xaver Aranguiz got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 20th minute of the match Christiano Lezcano sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benjamin Montaño skillfully saved the ball. Fidel Represa kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ciceron Cainzos in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benjamin Montaño saved Centro FC from getting behind. After a rather tough play, PEÑAROL l B l's Casado Lami got a free kick in the 36th minute. Rocio Hompanera's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Musko Purrigimon firmly grabbed it by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rocio Hompanera got free with Musko Purrigimon in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rocio Hompanera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 49th minute. Musko Purrigimon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The crowd rose to their feet as PEÑAROL l B l's Ciceron Cainzos slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benjamin Montaño. That made the score 1-2 after 53 minutes of play. Ciceron Cainzos hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rocio Hompanera in the 63rd minute of play forced PEÑAROL l B l's goalkeeper Musko Purrigimon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Musko Purrigimon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xaver Aranguiz in the 64th minute of the match. In the 67th minute, Christiano Lezcano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 82 minutes, Xaver Aranguiz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vitório de Carvalho charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vitório de Carvalho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 96th minute of the match Errolan Elgueta sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Musko Purrigimon skillfully saved the ball. PEÑAROL l B l were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Centro FC's much stronger midfield.
