After a defensive mix-up in Coronilla FC's zone, Josias Rioz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emiliano Estevis came out of the goal and Josias Rioz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gonzalez FC's Mark Ariztegui played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adriano Agrelo in the 29th minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Adriano Agrelo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mark Ariztegui. Gonzalez FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adriano Agrelo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Quintyn Mendiola couldn't finish the play. The Gonzalez FC fans' excitement grew in the 83rd match minute when Gonzalez FC's Josias Rioz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Josias Rioz struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Emiliano Estevis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gonzalez FC.
