The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes in the game, Teobaldo Fontanes fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ximenez Novajas having to interfere. Ximenez Novajas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teobaldo Fontanes in the 6th minute of the match. In the 13th minute, Paulo Igual had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lertxun Larren during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Morato getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Lertxun Larren hit a great ball. Andres Fresnoss short, quick shot in the 16thth minute got Ximenez Novajas to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Andres Fresnos succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 17th playminute. Andres Fresnos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Andres Fresnos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Moises Cardoza kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. After having played for 24 minutes, Teobaldo Fontanes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Egana FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teobaldo Fontanes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Andres Fresnos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Ximenez Novajas made a huge save. If Lertxun Larren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andres Fresnoss short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got Ximenez Novajas to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Andres Fresnos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Ximenez Novajas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ivan Fidalgo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Ximenez Novajas managed to avoid a goal in the 46thth minute, when Egana FC's Andres Fresnos fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Ximenez Novajas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andres Fresnos in the 55th minute of the match. Aquilino Creus hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andres Fresnos in the 61st minute of play forced Morato's goalkeeper Ximenez Novajas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Honrio Fortis's late challenge caught a Egana FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Honrio Fortis helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Morato's Honrio Fortis got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Andres Fresnos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Ximenez Novajas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ximenez Novajas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andres Fresnos in the 69th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Andres Fresnos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Egana FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Andres Fresnos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ximenez Novajas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 73 played minutes Egana FC got a freekick which was hit by Teobaldo Fontanes. Lertxun Larren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ximenez Novajas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andres Fresnos, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Andres Fresnos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ximenez Novajas having to interfere. If Andres Fresnos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that Egana FC were the better team. Egana FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
