Francis Güega took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teobaldo Fontanes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 11 minutes into the match, Aguirre's Lucero Viñuela sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Herauso Aelle narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Lucero Viñuela's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Herauso Aelle was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. In the 19th minute, Regis Ribero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 21 minutes, Llin Rabe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Egana FC and the Aguirre players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 21 played minutes Egana FC got a freekick which was hit by Llin Rabe. Teobaldo Fontanes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francis Güega having to interfere. In the 32nd match minute, Aguirre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Regis Ribero to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, Egana FC's Francis Güega threw himself towards the right post 34 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Teobaldo Fontanes, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Herauso Aelle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benet Nobal in the 36th minute of play. Herauso Aelle didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lucero Viñuela went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lucero Viñuela to strike the kick off in the second half. After 55 minutes of play, Egana FC's Teobaldo Fontanes made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Francis Güega was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 57 played minutes Egana FC got a freekick which was hit by Llin Rabe. Teobaldo Fontanes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Francis Güega tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 63 played minutes Aguirre got a freekick which was hit by Damario Arandia. If Andres Fresnos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 73 minutes into the match, Egana FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lucero Viñuela came free, but Herauso Aelle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Llin Rabe was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 78 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Egana FC's Llin Rabe got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 81st minute, Aguirre's Lucero Viñuela ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Herauso Aelle. Herauso Aelle yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Lucero Viñuela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herauso Aelle having to interfere. After 88 minutes, Teobaldo Fontanes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Egana FC and the Aguirre players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Egana FC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Teobaldo Fontanes hit a great ball. Benet Nobal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Herauso Aelle made a huge save. If Lucero Viñuela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute, Matthew Rioboo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Francis Güega made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arotza Hierro in the 97th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Aguirre eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
