Edmundo Zaldua made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Montrelle Montemayor in the 27th minute of play. If Astigar Cabuerniga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 41 minutes, Fernandez Quiros mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Scrip and the Molles FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fernandez Quiros kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. The supporters of Molles FC booed when Scrip was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bixintxo Larrategui didn't get a good kick on the ball. Montrelle Montemayor scored 1-1 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edmundo Zaldua, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Orkatz Olaondo to make the kick off. Montrelle Montemayor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Montrelle Montemayor couldn't finish the play. Molles FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Scrip had controlled the match.
