Spectators: 7341 (Terracing: 5508, Seating: 1688, VIP seats: 145) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Froilan Feliu took the kick off in the first half of the match. Joanes Nestares's late challenge caught a Candela Candela FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joanes Nestares helped the player get up and apologised. After 4 played minutes Vichadero got a freekick which was hit by Joanes Nestares. 5 minutes into the match, Candela Candela FC's Iztal Traspuesto broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Siro Salvador got free with Manny Arduengo in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vedillo Descarrega in the 23rd minute of play forced Candela Candela FC's goalkeeper Pedro Rallo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guipuzkoa Palenzuela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Rallo having to interfere. Pedro Rallo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vedillo Descarrega, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Vichadero's Manny Arduengo got control of the ball when Siro Salvador tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pedro Rallo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vedillo Descarrega's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. After a rather tough play, Vichadero's Baristo Descapa got a free kick in the 35th minute. Manny Arduengo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Froilan Feliu, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Manny Arduengo came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Candela Candela FC's Siro Salvador. But to his dismay, Siro Salvador quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Vichadero's Manny Arduengo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Froilan Feliu in the 49th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vedillo Descarrega was the one to do the kick off. Guipuzkoa Palenzuela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guipuzkoa Palenzuela struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Pedro Rallo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vichadero. 58 minutes into the match, Siro Salvador notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Vichadero's Manny Arduengo. Manny Arduengo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Manny Arduengo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Froilan Feliu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guipuzkoa Palenzuela got free with Pedro Rallo in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Manny Arduengo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Froilan Feliu, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Pedro Rallo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baristo Descapa in the 80th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Vichadero's Vedillo Descarrega ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pedro Rallo. Pedro Rallo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zuzen Capacho during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Zuzen Capacho kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Pedro Rallo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vedillo Descarrega, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guipuzkoa Palenzuela kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 92ndth minute. Though ot was a great shot Candela Candela FC's keeper Pedro Rallo was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. In the 95th minute Vedillo Descarrega shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Rallo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Candela Candela FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Vichadero had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
