With a couple of smart ball manuevers Errolan Alcubierre in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Santxol Fonte saved Sayago AFC from getting behind. In the 11th minute, Errolan Alcubierre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th minute, Errolan Alcubierre made a precise shot to the right of Santxol Fonte. Sayago AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 22 minutes into the game, Meder Solloso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sayago AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Social Uruguayo F.C the free kick. After 22 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Sayago AFC! In the 24th minute there was a penalty for Club Social Uruguayo F.C. Elequemedo Macua stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Santxol Fonte. 0-2. The Sayago AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Santxol Fonte should have stopped the shot. In the 44th minute Errolan Alcubierre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santxol Fonte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Errolan Alcubierre put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Santxol Fonte. After the first half Club Social Uruguayo F.C were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Felo Bacete stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Errolan Alcubierre in the 52nd minute of play forced Sayago AFC's goalkeeper Santxol Fonte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Raymon Fole had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Sayago AFC booed when Club Social Uruguayo F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xose Temiño didn't get a good kick on the ball. Club Social Uruguayo F.C's Raymon Fole got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Santxol Fonte was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Juango Planes. Club Social Uruguayo F.C's Gasteiz Callon got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Raymon Fole had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Raymon Fole came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Club Social Uruguayo F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raymon Fole couldn't finish the play.
