Spectators: 6690 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1690, VIP seats: 0) Pastor Yturrondo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 7 minutes into the match, Palmeiras's goalkeeper Hipolito Granolles had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fortun Caño. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Oso Sedeño during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Palmeiras getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Oso Sedeño hit a great ball. When Palmeiras's Algot Malmgren in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Godoy AFC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 19thth minute of the game Algot Malmgren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Godoy AFC's Vasco Rivacoba was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vasco Rivacoba stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valente Curiel's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Vasco Rivacoba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iparragirre Bacete in the 21st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Godoy AFC's Fortun Caño got a free kick in the 24th minute. Algot Malmgren took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vasco Rivacoba. Vasco Rivacoba dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The supporters of Palmeiras booed when Godoy AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benito Magallanes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vasco Rivacoba stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Algot Malmgren's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. In the 47th minute Valente Curiel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vasco Rivacoba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Godoy AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Palmeiras were winning 0-2.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Algot Malmgren in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vasco Rivacoba saved Godoy AFC from getting behind. Vasco Rivacoba came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Palmeiras's Valente Curiel. But to his dismay, Valente Curiel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Algot Malmgren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 71 minutes into the match, Algot Malmgren notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Godoy AFC's Vasco Rivacoba. Vasco Rivacoba was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Vasco Rivacoba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Algot Malmgren in the 74th minute of play. Vasco Rivacoba made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iparragirre Bacete in the 76th minute. With splendid footwork Algot Malmgren arrived in front of goal to shoot 0-6 by the left pole in the game's 79th minute. Vasco Rivacoba didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Palmeiras's Valente Curiel shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-7 in the ordered_time% minute. The Godoy AFC fans' excitement grew in the 87th match minute when Godoy AFC's Pastor Yturrondo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-7 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Godoy AFC's Vasco Rivacoba proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Godoy AFC from getting a goal against them. When the match was over Palmeiras could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Godoy AFC throughout the match.
