Jeraldo Saavedra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zarbonin Lizundia, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 23 minutes into the game, when Osasun Ispuzua put in a rough tackle. Rencio Lorza ran back to his position shaking his head. Donato Hermosilla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Savion Laguna having to interfere. Donato Hermosilla kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The C. A. El Gargajo Verde fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Marineros del Este were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
