The audience thought a goal was coming when Manni Manzanares got free with Chinto Abendaño in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Manni Manzanares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matxin Carlos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Brazo Oriental getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Gar Larren hit a great ball. Brazo Oriental's Chinto Abendaño proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Brazo Oriental from getting a goal against them. Manni Manzanares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Chinto Abendaño tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Matxin Carlos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hechter Caneda having to interfere. 46 minutes into the match, Vimaro Artes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hechter Caneda. Mourino's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vimaro Artes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Matxin Carlos to make the kick off. In the 54th minute Nikola Valiente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chinto Abendaño saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Mourino's Manni Manzanares got a free kick in the 55th minute. Hechter Caneda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matxin Carlos, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. A collision led to Brazo Oriental getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Cosme Obiaga hit a great ball. Manni Manzanares might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Chinto Abendaño. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Manni Manzanares ran back to his position shaking his head. Vimaro Artes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brazo Oriental's Chinto Abendaño played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manni Manzanares in the 68th minute of play. Xeromo Ocasio charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Xeromo Ocasio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After having played for 70 minutes, Manni Manzanares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mourino's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manni Manzanares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Nikola Valiente managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mourino's supporters rose to their feet, but Nikola Valiente was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chinto Abendaño breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 77 minutes, Heriberto Aguileta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brazo Oriental and the Mourino players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 77th minute, Heriberto Aguileta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mourino's Roman Romarote couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 78th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Brazo Oriental. Mourino's Hechter Caneda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Mourino from getting a goal against them. Vimaro Artes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Hechter Caneda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nikola Valiente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nikola Valiente in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Chinto Abendaño prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Brazo Oriental had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
