Spectators: 6699 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1699, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Eutor Pis got the match started through his kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Yader Arriete managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tacuarembo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Yader Arriete was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Beltran Santayana breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gabon Diosdado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fulgencio Chacin having to make a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Tacuarembo FC's Yader Arriete slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Beltran Santayana. That made the score 1-0 after 13 minutes of play. In the 15th minute Eutor Pis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beltran Santayana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Eutor Pis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eutor Pis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Beltran Santayana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yader Arriete hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Tacuarembo FC's Gaufred Cuñat got a free kick in the 30th minute. Yader Arriete recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Severiano Solbeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute, Tacuarembo FC's Eutor Pis dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Locomotora FC's Beltran Santayana proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Locomotora FC from getting a goal against them.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Severiano Solbeida made a kick off. In the 53rd minute Eutor Pis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beltran Santayana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 54th match minute, Locomotora FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severiano Solbeida to maneuver through the defense. Locomotora FC's Beltran Santayana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yader Arriete in the 55th minute of play. Jabier Lastra's late challenge caught a Locomotora FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jabier Lastra helped the player get up and apologised. 66 minutes into the game, Tacuarembo FC's Eutor Pis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Beltran Santayana made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. 70 minutes into the match, Tacuarembo FC's Yader Arriete sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Beltran Santayana narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yader Arriete in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Beltran Santayana prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Beltran Santayana came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Tacuarembo FC's Eutor Pis. But to his dismay, Eutor Pis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. 80 minutes into the game, Orlandus Giral was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tacuarembo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Locomotora FC the free kick. A collision led to Tacuarembo FC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Orlandus Giral hit a great ball. 95 minutes into the game, Severiano Solbeida was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Locomotora FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tacuarembo FC the free kick. Severiano Solbeida hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, Tacuarembo FC could leave the field as winners, despite Locomotora FC having more of the ball for most of the match.
