Volcom FC's Xano Bolaños played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barry Irvin in the 4th minute of play. After 6 minutes of play, Club Trouville de Fútbol's Jorge Pais made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Xano Bolaños was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match clock showed 11 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Barry Irvin sped through Volcom FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Xano Bolaños. 17 minutes into the match, Volcom FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Pais came free, but Xano Bolaños reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barry Irvin in the 20th minute of play forced Volcom FC's goalkeeper Xano Bolaños to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 25 played minutes Club Trouville de Fútbol got a freekick which was hit by Mogel Soberon. Mogel Soberon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Xano Bolaños tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Mogel Soberon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Trouville de Fútbol's supporters rose to their feet, but Mogel Soberon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xano Bolaños breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Juango Siruendo fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Volcom FC's protests and gave Juango Siruendo a yellow card for diving instead. Juango Siruendo kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Club Trouville de Fútbol's Mogel Soberon pulled a muscle in his back after 43 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Xurdin Bolantin's late challenge caught a Club Trouville de Fútbol's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Xurdin Bolantin helped the player get up and apologised. Club Trouville de Fútbol made a substitution. Ishmael Somovilla replaced Mogel Soberon. In the 45th minute, Xurdin Bolantin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Barry Irvin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Xano Bolaños was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The supporters of Club Trouville de Fútbol booed when Volcom FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonzo Enestrosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 69 played minutes Club Trouville de Fútbol got a freekick which was hit by Lordi Marroquin. Volcom FC's Lop Romuroso got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Felix Fariñas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tabor Puget in the 74th minute of the match. Barry Irvin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xano Bolaños having to interfere. The supporters of Club Trouville de Fútbol booed when Volcom FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ted Susvilla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Barry Irvin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 78thth minute tested the skills of Xano Bolaños when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A collision led to Volcom FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Tabor Puget hit a great ball. Ishmael Somovilla might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Xano Bolaños. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ishmael Somovilla ran back to his position shaking his head. Gonzo Enestrosa took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 88th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Felix Fariñas. Club Trouville de Fútbol's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Barry Irvin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Xano Bolaños tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 93 minutes, Barry Irvin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Trouville de Fútbol's supporters crossed their fingers, but Barry Irvin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rafa García sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
