Jorge Parisi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Restu Herenchun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 7 minutes into the game, Valentim Monte recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Demario Barrenechea. Valentim Monte showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 10 minutes into the game, Restu Herenchun cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Cleto Aguinagalde was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Restu Herenchun in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cleto Aguinagalde saved Floresta FC from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Garin Chacon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cleto Aguinagalde was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Valentim Monte struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Demario Barrenechea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Floresta FC. In the 24th minute Gar Ramallal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demario Barrenechea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute, Policarpio Retortillo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 28 minutes into the game, Policarpio Retortillo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C. C. y Dep. Jorge Parisi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Floresta FC the free kick. In the 28th minute, Policarpio Retortillo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Azeari Tordomar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentim Monte in the 31st minute of play forced C. C. y Dep. Jorge Parisi's goalkeeper Demario Barrenechea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience held their breath when Derwin Burriaga in the 35th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Demario Barrenechea's left hand side. Cloyo Funes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valentim Monte might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Demario Barrenechea. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Valentim Monte ran back to his position shaking his head. Azeari Tordomar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Floresta FC's Valentim Monte was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 45th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Restu Herenchun stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Demario Barrenechea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Azeari Tordomar, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Demario Barrenechea didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Azeari Tordomar went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. A collision led to Floresta FC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Derwin Burriaga hit a great ball. Policarpio Retortillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 69thth minute of the game Valentim Monte who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C. C. y Dep. Jorge Parisi's Demario Barrenechea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Valentim Monte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Demario Barrenechea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Floresta FC defense, Garin Chacon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cleto Aguinagalde. The Floresta FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cleto Aguinagalde should have stopped the shot. In the 78th minute, Ospin Orellan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Valentim Monte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Restu Herenchun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Cleto Aguinagalde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Floresta FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
