If Cloyo Teberga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 13 minutes, Cloyo Teberga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sauce's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cloyo Teberga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cloyo Teberga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Florin Caraballo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Florin Caraballo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cornelio Briceño in the 17th minute of the match. If Cloyo Teberga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 28 minutes into the match, Piedritas's Truylos Cofresi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gian-Carlo Marin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sauce's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Eguntsenti Solana was slow to take the kick. During this time Piedritas's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Piedritas's corner Eguntsenti Solana fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gian-Carlo Marin quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cornelio Briceño in the 38th minute of play forced Piedritas's goalkeeper Florin Caraballo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Sauce getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Hibai Martino hit a great ball. Sauce's Gian-Carlo Marin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amado Montez in the 47th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Amado Montez made a kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Piedritas's goal looked a bit too open when Cornelio Briceño came free, but Florin Caraballo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 56th minute, Cloyo Teberga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cloyo Teberga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Cloyo Teberga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Cornelio Briceño came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Sauce fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cornelio Briceño couldn't finish the play. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Piedritas's goalkeeper Florin Caraballo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Amado Montez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gian-Carlo Marin having to interfere. Sauce were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Piedritas for a fine match.
