Spectators: 6751 (Terracing: 5621, Seating: 1115, VIP seats: 15) Emilio Regaño started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the match, Nuevo Paysandú's goal looked a bit too open when Mantzio Rosal came free, but Lonzo Casabo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It was a well-played corner which Batista Llera managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. With a little luck, Lunarejo FC's Chano Artaza got control of the ball when Nafarroa Corral tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Emilio Regaño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 29 minutes into the game, Charro Beilzo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Lonzo Casabo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Lunarejo FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Oton Osorio hit a great ball. Nuevo Paysandú's Batista Llera got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emilio Regaño received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Chano Artaza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th match minute, Lunarejo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amancio Zuniga to maneuver through the defense. Lunarejo FC's Chano Artaza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilio Regaño in the 49th minute of play. After the first half Lunarejo FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Charro Beilzo made the kick off in the second half. Nafarroa Corral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emilio Regaño blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Chano Artaza having to make a save. 57 minutes into the game, Nuevo Paysandú's Emilio Regaño nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Chano Artaza made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. When Charro Beilzo in the 71st play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Lonzo Casabo kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-3 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Chano Artaza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emilio Regaño in the 75th minute of the match. Lonzo Casabo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Charro Beilzo's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Charro Beilzo struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Lonzo Casabo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lunarejo FC. In the 79th minute, Dionisio Muelas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lonzo Casabo acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 81st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Amancio Zuniga. In the 83rd minute, Charro Beilzo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Lunarejo FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
