Sauce's defense didn't have a chance, in the 18th minute, when Charro Beilzo scored to the left of an out of position Gian-Carlo Marin, making the score, 1-0. Bingen Saenz hit a great ball. 23 minutes into the match, Lunarejo FC's Amancio Zuniga broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Charro Beilzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 28 minutes, Charro Beilzo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lunarejo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Charro Beilzo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gian-Carlo Marin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charro Beilzo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 33 minutes into the match, Lunarejo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cornelio Briceño came free, but Chano Artaza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Cornelio Briceño had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Chano Artaza. Lunarejo FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cornelio Briceño was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Cornelio Briceño's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Chano Artaza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cornelio Briceño to make the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Cloyo Teberga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sauce's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cloyo Teberga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Chano Artaza made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Cloyo Teberga sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cloyo Teberga got free with Chano Artaza in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 85 minutes, Charro Beilzo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lunarejo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Charro Beilzo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hibai Martino kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. When Charro Beilzo came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Lunarejo FC fans jumped to their feet. When the match clock showed 95 minutes, the score became 2-3 when Cloyo Teberga sped through Lunarejo FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Chano Artaza.
