In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Garibaldi AFC's goalkeeper Mario Carreiras, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 64 played minutes, Zambullon's Lopez Viniambres shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mario Carreiras came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Inko Tagle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arias Chamorro hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Mario Carreiras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inko Tagle in the 94th minute of play. Mario Carreiras showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haitz Carranza in the 96th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Garibaldi AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Zambullon.
