If Txaran Renta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Trigo AFC's Naelio Ondategui got control of the ball when Txaran Renta tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gartzen Villacian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Nayely Lavandera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 33 minutes, Guilabertus Tejero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arsenal Montevideo Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guilabertus Tejero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Gartzen Villacian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mino Pinillos hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nalo Ucero to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nalo Ucero in the 52nd minute of play forced Arsenal Montevideo Club's goalkeeper Nayely Lavandera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nayely Lavandera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zuriko Prellezo hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Txaran Renta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Naelio Ondategui having to interfere. With his leg Nayely Lavandera managed to avoid a goal in the 67thth minute, when Trigo AFC's Gartzen Villacian fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Guilabertus Tejero came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Arsenal Montevideo Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guilabertus Tejero couldn't finish the play. 74 minutes into the match, Trigo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Guilabertus Tejero came free, but Naelio Ondategui reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nayely Lavandera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nalo Ucero in the 75th minute of the match. Viviano Viso's late challenge caught a Arsenal Montevideo Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Viviano Viso helped the player get up and apologised. Viviano Viso kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Arsenal Montevideo Club's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lartaun Esqueda in the 80th minute. In the 82nd minute, Guilabertus Tejero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Trigo AFC's Nalo Ucero got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
